This one is all about the secondary and their coverage stats. I broke down each team based on man coverage and zone coverage then gave them an overall coverage grade. I used the project nickle personnel doing my best job at trying to get the proper personnel on the field.

It's no secret that pass rush has been turned up a notch for Madden 20, but it never hurts to have a little extra juice. Below is my pass rush rating for each team based on their optimal pass rush score. Optimal pass rush took the teams best four man front and then selected their best pass rushing stat to create the optimal outcome in a pass rushing situation.

Nothing screams Madden quite like speed and we got you covered on that front. We have broken down the speed of each team on both offense and defense, as well as assigned an overall team speed score. The analysis was done using 11 personnel on offense and nickle personnel on defense. On offense QB's and O linemen were not included, and on defense there were no D linemen used. Continuing our deep dive series, this article will take a look at the offensive line units of each team in Madden 20. Above you can see my spreadsheet I created to make my observations. I plugged in the blocking stats of the starter at each offensive line position. First up in our analytical evaluation of the Madden 20 ratings we take a look at the youth of the various teams and how well situated they are for the future. In order to do this I have developed what I refer to as the "Youth Power Index" and each teams Youth Power RAting, or YPR for short. This formula takes all players on a team 26 or under and then puts them into buckets based on their OVR. Those various buckets are given a modifier score and then the total score is applied to the team to give a snapshot of how well those teams are set to the future. Note: Ties were done alphabetically. With the rookie ratings release yesterday the Madden world was in a bit of a spin. EA had warned us for some time now that the ratings would be "stretched" more than we had ever seen before, however it still came as a shock to some the ratings were as low as they were for certain players.
